Coelogyne pandurata ( Black Orchid)
In the island of Sumatra ( Indonesia) the flowers of the black orchid ( Coelogyne pandurata) were used to bless crops. (Teoh Eng Soon (1982) A Joy Forever, Times International, Singapore).
